As announced on Simchas Torah night all funds raised over Simchas Torah will be going directly to help our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael.

Anshei Chesed will be sending money directly to  My Brothers Keeper a 5013c Charity. see details below.

If you purchased a kibud over Simchas Torah or would just like to contribute please use the from below to submit your donation so we can forward to My Brothers Keeper.

Friends, we received a request from Sgt. Major Steve Gar who is a friend of ours serving right now in his region of Gush Etzion in Israel.  He is an educator and a Ben Torah who is a counter-terrorism expert and a true Ohev Yisrael.  Steve was called up at 730am on Shemini Atzeres/Simchas Torah and has been busy for most of the time since.

Under normal conditions, Israeli soldiers have everything they need.  Given the very large scale draft and the surprise attack, many units (including Steve's) are missing crucial equipment and Steve has reached out for our support.
While there are many valid organizations that have been mobilized to support out Chayalim, Steve's work with "My Brother's Keeper" is unique in that there is no overhead.  Every single penny goes straight to the soldiers.  These are soldiers that Steve knows and has verified the details.  While the above is in no way meant to criticize any other platform, the goal of My Brother's Keeper is to make the giving and the supplying seamless and efficient.

If you would like to contribute to these soldiers, there are 2 general campaigns....
1. Gear for reserve units. The requests keep coming in. We are working on suppliers and then get the gear straight to the troops in staging areas in the North and South.  If you know anyone coming to Israel now, also very helpful. Cost per soldier depends on unit and need but each group is about 30 men and each person needs anywhere from 500-1200$ in equipment.

2. Basic supplies: many men didn't have time to properly pack before heading out and /or won't have access to restock while at war. Yesterday I personally handed out underwear, toiletries, protein bars and more to some very young and very grateful soldiers about to head to the front lines. Again, if these can be shipped here in the coming days,  that would be best/easiest.  If not, donations towards their purchase is very helpful.

Our Brothers Keeper is a non-profit tax deductible organization in the US. We are a recognized 501 (c)3. This donation will go directly to our security project. Please keep us updated with regards to the details (JCF/Check/QuickPay/Zelle/Venmo, date sent, amount & name) of your contribution so that we can follow up from our end and ensure it's correct allocation. Also please send us your postal address or email, in order to forward you a receipt.
