Harry Engelman A'H Youth Department

Mr. Harry Engelman was born in Bushtyno, Czechoslovakia. His remarkable journey took him to a forced labor camp, concentration camp, the Death March to Mauthausen, Cyprus, and Israel as one of the earliest members of the Israeli Army. He was an honest businessman and a dedicated husband and father.

Mr. Engelman has a tremendous love of children. Starting with his own and with his grandchildren, his love radiated out to the children of our shul. His warm smile and sweet candies made our shul glow every Shabbos. The children viewed him as a grandfather who gave them unconditional love and support. With his passing in the 3rd Tevet 5776 we lost a pillar of the Anshei Chesed community. So it was with great gratitude and love that the shul named and dedicated the youth department in his memory.

Morning Groups  meet at 9:45 upstairs on the 3rd floor and will conclude when davening in shul is over.

Afternoon Groups meet from 2:15-3:45.  Boys in the gym, preschool and girls upstairs. Please pick up your children promptly!
